In device manager I appear to have a conflict going on with the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller. Here's a screenie -

Any ideas what this is and how I find out what it is conflicting with?

Thanks.

I have exactly the same problem. My system is a new AMD Fusion with E-450 APU and ATI Radeon 6320. The device manager shows no warnings, but inside the Microsoft ACPI-Compliant Embedded Controller there is a conflict. However, I do not see any problem in the system. Additionally, the "ATI I/O Communications Processor PCI Bus Controller" also shows in the Resource tab that it is not using any resource because it presents a problem. Again, no problems is the system are noticeable.

Does anybody have an idea? Why motherboard resources are in conflict with internal controllers? I think that this problem could be present in many AMD/ATI systems.

Thanks in advance.

No ideas? The problem seems to appear on many AMD-based chipsets.

Thanks.

just a thought but you have installed the EPU app you get with that mobo havent you, not sure exactly what its called but im sure a chip driver is part of it , its a maybe as ive had that with mobos

EPU being energy performance usage or something but in any case the mobos tweek soft( all of it can have several drivers inparted for eg for the EPU chip and some have a seperate OC genie style chip and whatnot.
