Seems like one of the most critical "make or break" pieces in a system build should have it's own sub section under hardware. Seems like these just fall under General Hardware or maybe Cases, Modding & Electronics which might cause new users to just search another forum if they don't see a section dedicated to it.

A dedicated section with some helpful stickied posts will certainly attract more

I'd guess maybe one new thread and five posts on average per week. There might be weeks with no new threads or OP's posting "bump" to a DOA topic.

Maybe you could add some audio of crickets chirping in the background.

However I can imagine an occasional flurry of two people going back and forth in some sort of hilariously pedantic debate in one existing thread. It might also end up being the Necro-Thread Resurrection Capital of TPU.

Don't get me wrong: PSUs are very important and one shouldn't skimp on their selection. That said, they are some of the most heavily tested devices and today's PSUs have good longevity compared to the stuff sold 25-30 years ago. That means you shouldn't need to replace them regularly.

My Corsair SF750 has a 7-year warranty; there are a few with 10 year warranties. Once you buy a good one you can basically forget about it for five years. It'll outlast every single other component in the case.
