Add Remove Programs in Windows XP doesn't finish loading the program list (It never even starts displaying any programs) and I believe it may be that a uninstall program messed up completely and Windows can't figure out what programs are installed because of it. What is the problem? Please?

Looks to me that you POSSIBLY have registry corruption in this section of the registry:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

:(

* That's where the "Add/Remove Programs" lists are coming from...

APK

P.S.=> Taking a peek in there @ some of the entries MAY lend you a hand here (or not), but do take a squint @ that section, as you may find out what exactly is causing your inability for that list to populate for you, properly, quite possibly... Good luck! apk

Are there any signs that an entry would be corrupted?

I know of a way to test... but, first, can you see entries?

:)

* The ONLY way I could think of testing for this, is see if you have registry rights, unrestricted ones there... right-click on the hives properties & find out.

APK

P.S.=> Hint - exports & reimports one @ a time, to find a bad entry... apk

* The ONLY way I could think of testing for this, is see if you have registry rights, unrestricted ones there using the PERMISSIONS on that entire registry hive folder valueset for all entries in the lists... right-click on the hives PERMISSIONS all the way thru that pathway tree above down to each item there you CAN & find out.

Have to be able to see & access them, rights-wise, in the registry first.
