After talking routers, the upgrade bug has bit me and I would like to get rid of my old school 2006 gamerslounge router (the non wireless version) haha
I have been looking between the asus rt-ac56u review and Asus N66u routers. I know the N66u gets a lot of loving around here, but the AC56u seems like a legit contender (and looks a little better too - you know since it is all about the looks
)
Has anyone had a chance to play with the 56u? I am really digging the fresh UI ASUS has used.
The major things I need is 2 USB ports and both have them and then priority to my computer when gaming and both seem to have that as well ... They both can be had for the same price but the 56u comes with the AC data rate and the N66u does not ...
Should I go 56u just for future proofing since routers are not on the top of my list to upgrade every time something new comes out... as you can tell
Thanks
