ALC4080 Realtek USB Audio - single audio stream output to two audio devices?

Please save me. I'm at my wits end. I've been trying to solve this for many months. There were similar posts on this in the past and great solutions which unfortunately no longer apply.

It appears to no longer be possible to simultaneously output a single audio stream to the front and back audio jacks when using new 'Realtek USB Audio' devices like the onboard Realtek ALC 4080 Codec, such as on the z790 ASUS Apex motherboard. I do NOT recommend it as it doesn't work with the awesome custom drivers upstanding members of the community have made. I don't know why new more expensive things end up having less than the old things did!

I like wearing my headphones for comfort and as a work association, but my kids and pets stuck inside during winter would benefit from being able to hear music at the same time via the speakers.

I used to be able to just "disable front panel jack detection" in Realtek HD Audio Manager, but now I'm stuck with the Realtek Audio Console and the option does nothing.

I used to be able to use Realtek UAD Generic Drivers and use the Realtek HDA Driver Test tool to flick particular check boxes, but the Realtek UAD Generic drivers do not work with Realtek USB Devices (as informed by their primary contributor on github); the ALC 4080 is apparently quite different to the old audio codecs in how it is a USB device.

I attempted to install Realtek HD Audio Manager, but after installation there is no Realtek HD Audio Manager (like it's a bare minimal install, and doesn't give the exe). Because, I'm guessing, it figures out it's the wrong driver for it, and wants me to use the Realtek Audio Console.

I tried plugging everything into the back outputs instead of front and back, so one for line out and one for rear speakers, and setting Windows to quadraphonic sound, but then Winamp (WACUP) would still only output to line out and not mirror sound to the rear speakers as well. I'm looking into the mixer plugin for that but would need to be lucky enough to have the current test version for that to work.

Are there any new solutions that fix the ALC 4080 so a single audio stream can be simultaneously sent to front and back outputs? I have tested several solutions, using DriverStoreExplorer to do clean installs, repeatedly attempting different driver installs and trying to elucidate a meaningful and relevant response from ASUS Support. No luck. They just kept telling me to install drivers from the motherboard which weren't USB Audio drivers, or that didn't make a difference.

If I've missed an obvious answer here on the forums, please direct me to it, and thank you and I love you for being wonderful.
