Alienware, a famous manufacturer of high performance PC systems, has just released their line up of Core 2 Duo notebooks. Other than packing serious performance, these laptops are aggressively priced - you can purchase the base model, which features a Core 2 Duo T5500 (2MB Cache, 667MHz FSB) clocked at 1.66GHz and a 128MB ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 graphic card for $999.

More about the lineup here.

Thats really a pretty good price... but how does the x1400 compare to the x1600?
