Alphacool today presents two new Core temperature sensors with colour display. With the help of the digital display, the temperature of the water cooling loop can be displayed and easily read with an accuracy of 0.1°C. Thanks to the colour scale, you can always keep track of critical temperature ranges.

Alphacool's Core temperature sensor is available in two different versions. One version features a flat and flexible sensor that is simply attached to the outside of the component to measure the temp. Variant 2 has a sensor with 2 G1/4" female threads that can be integrated into any water cooling loop using suitable adapters. It does not matter whether the system is equipped with hoses or hard tubes. The Core temperature sensors are powered by a 12 V 4-pin Molex connector and have sufficient cable length for convenient routing within the water circuit. Additional software for reading the temperature ranges is not required.

Molex :/

other than SATA master race, i like it. genuinely might add to loop.

There are better ones out there with more info than temperature and better screen.

The display is designed as a press fit into a cut out.
I assume they supply a template?

Where would that fit in a modern case. Imo gone are the days of chopping holes in your case.

Yeah, really... it doesn't look like they put much effort into the screen, and I don't know why they have the scale going down to -20C.
Useful if you switch to Kelvin scale!

Omg I bought this 6 or 8 months ago on ebay directly from China for like $5. It is the exact same thing but was not branded.

Give me a few minutes and I'll show you some pictures.

I wonder if they will include the acrylic holder that it snaps into. I put this into my CHEAP ASF custom water loop on one of my test benches. Who knew you could build an awesome loop for less than $100?

That's not new, they just found an old box of them somewhere in a dusty shed. I still have an old one of those, even better with the sensor being a screw-in plug for the res, in my box of old LC stuff I used back in the Phenom II 965BE days. Incidentally, also sold by Alphacool.

Yep, if it was a new product it would be 5V powered at the most, and not look so dated, but I guess it might be handy if the temperature gauge in your car doesn't work.

looks like my old Apevia Telstar case LCD screen, but is a rectangle. instead of a circle.
it was a nice case with a fan controller knob on the front, a sound meter, also a voltage meter for you power supply.
