I wonder why i even bothered with it. Whatever (and i mean whatever) i fed to it, it starts to moan about unsupported codecs. Since when are XviD, DivX and H.264 inside AVI/MP4/MKV so bloody exotic!?!??!?!?
 
Just use VLC Player, plays fine and has hw acc (may be disabled by default).

+1 only ever use standard Win7 codecs with WMP and VLC, plays all of my content off the bat, avi, xvid, h264 etc, no need to mess with lots of different codec packs etc unless you need a specific requirement
 
I hope you two understand i'm not talking about playback, i'm talking about video conversion.
For playback, i'm using MPC HC...
