Ling-Long, a Chinese PC manufacturer, has introduced an innovative device that combines a fully functional AMD Ryzen 7 8840U PC with a foldable keyboard. This design stands out among recent Mini and Portable PC offerings. Unlike Mini PCs, it doesn't require an external power source to boot, and unlike laptops, it lacks a built-in display. Users can simply connect it to a monitor and mouse to create a complete workstation. Ling-Long emphasizes the product's extreme portability, demonstrating how it can fit in a pocket.

Aiming to surpass the compactness and functionality of Apple's Macbook and Mac mini, Ling-Long describes their product as an "unibody" design with a dedicated converting mechanism. Essentially, it's a mini-PC integrated into a keyboard. The device's chassis is divided into two compartments: one for the main PC with a single active-blower fan and copper heatsink, and another for the battery pack. Battery life varies from 10 hours for light workloads to 4 hours for gaming.

The 780M iGPU would make this a decent portable low-medium 1080p gaming piece at the right price. I'm a big fan of all the wacky, hackjob-esque hardware coming out of China these days. What was that fly-by-night manufacturer releasing those motherboards with the mobile Intel CPUs soldered on to them? Those were really interesting, would've picked one up if they didn't have that generic, sketchy-ass BIOS all of those Chinese white box refab motherboards have.

Probably broke off by just looking at it. The upper right antenna springs are also butchered... fine advertisement we have here.
 
I'd rather have an AIO keyboard than an AIO display, you know, C64 style. Then again, a laptop is pretty good to have as well.

Dunno about the quality..

Look no further than the smashed heatpipes. If their function was ever based on vapor chamber principles, they're done.

Do this in a full size keyboard and do away with the folding aspect, and you'll have a winner!
EDIT: Also, loose the touch pad. we don't need a tiny thing like that. People can buy a mouse.

Only needs a SIM card and it could have phone functionality as well, minus the screen.
That alleged missing tab might be a design feature not a flaw if that mount is used to secure the motherboard in the keyboard and a heat pad used on the top of the IHS.

Why people so negative, because its from China? Those are probably early prototype board to show how the motherboard PCB and heatsink looks like.

This is something that should be done as it has been done way back then, I think its better to have AIO keyboard than display. Put a full sized keyboard (mechanical preferably, with this you have more cooling and battery area), lose the folding thing, put the Thinkpad-style nipple that would be great.
 
Why not make it a full size Layout so its fits more heatsink and battery while also having a useable keyboard?
