i hope they fix the "clean install" function soon...
 
I feel that GPUs and APU driver cycles should be at different time tables and different packages, sort of like the legacy cards having a different time table package cycle...

when you install the GPU Drivers you can check the "Factory Reset" Box for a full DDU like wipe.
this function is extremely broken and can break your whole windows installation and they disabled it months ago (still not fixed and not available)

I just done that with this driver install, thankfully the world didn't end, when before you got your 4090 did you experience this?
 
i still have almost all RDNA2 Cards and one system with a 6950XT right now.
it never happened to me (i did a clean install through the installer with the first "affected" driver and it was fine)
but how did you do that? this function should be disabled.
