any one know safe hot side temps for a/c unit?

that all i wana know is like what crtical heat point for a standered a/c unit say 5000 to 10000 btu im hittin 50-80c [on the hot rad of the a/c unit] im thinkin in a norm use it may hit 100c evin higher is this norm

im ac tech and the basic rule i was told to use is 15-20 farenheit air temp split (higher than ambient air temp coming out) outside and 10-15 farenheit air temp split inside (lower than ambient air temp coming out) depending on efficient level. check air temp only not the fins or tubing temp. if your not in that range then you maybe need to clean it (both the inside fins and the outside fins) or change filter. if that doesnt help then pay for a service tech to check, you probably have a problem.

that provided no help at all lol this a/c unit is not in a window or being used for a a/c unit

its being used as a chiller unit

temp will be way off from what they would in a norm use

so i ask agean does any one know max hot side temp [like before it blows up] the chiller runs just fine just wana know what safe temps ar

im gussing up to maby 150c is safe i duno how much the freon can take [but its not like the rad.s guna melt]

allso the a/c unit is open so i know full well the fins ar nice a clean

evin if u can give me a max temp in farin hight i dun care

They can usually get pretty hot. I'd take a guess at 122f. Are you planning on adding a fan to help keep it cool, or is the plan to run it passive?
