Anyone playing TF2?

I have never played many computer games outside of SC2 and WoW, but I decided to try out TF2 the other day and holy crap, I love it. anyway, Engineer, looking for players.

What kind of engi do you play-defensive (turtle) or offensive (leave the sentry alone)?

TF2 is oodles of fun; what kind of maps do you play?

Well I just got done playing a "protect the zone" game type, not sure what its called, but lets just say me and my other engineer buddy sat back and watched out turrets mow people down.

However offensive Eng can be fun too, I am really just trying to get a handle on each class one at a time. But I am pretty happy with my 30 dollar Orange Box investment.

Protect the zone is capture point (official name); from your point of view you were defending the point(s). Try out some custom maps sometime, they may be the craziest games you will ever play in

L4D is to repetitive for me, but a good game a few times through but got old quick. TF2 is awesome and I like Unreal but too many bots now days.

Nah unfortunately. I bought the Orange Box just for TF2 having been a long time fan of Team Fortress since when it started back in QuakeWorld, but only ended up playing for a couple weeks, then COD4 came out and that's all I've been playing since. TF2 really disappointed me with the cartoony stuff. And after I mastered COD4, went back to TF2, got to the top of the list and never came down, it was too easy.

I bought TF2 back on release day and played it one time. The game was cool but at the time I was playing something else a lot (forget what now) and I never got back into it. Great game though and lots of fun and laughs my one time playing.
