The best way to describe this game is that it's a fantasy third-person/FPS hybrid Crysis with some RPG elements. I found out about this game like a year ago and almost totally forgot about it so I thought whynot see how the game's progressing. So I went ahead and googl'd it....But, unfortunately this game has been cancelled, for what reason, I have no idea. Apparently Intel had acquired the developing company that had been working on this game and decided that it wasn't worth the effort so they had it canned
Here are a few articles confirming this:

Looks like I something I would have liked to play... thanks Intel :shadedshu

Nice physics. The first video with actual gameplay looks interesting. I like how you can select between first and third person view.

this happened about a million years ago...

intel bought it, turned it into a larabee techdemo, hardware bombed, game gone

Being able to render the amount of physics would have been possible with an add-on Nvidia PhysX capable card I'm sure. It's just that Intel and Nvidia don't get along too well :slap:
Game would have been EPIC. Reading the Wikipedia article on Offset Software, the founders of the company moved over to another company called Fractiv LLC after the shit hit the fan. I hope that somehow, someway that the project was still somewhat owned by the founders and that Intel didn't have total exclusive rights to the game.....I know....but, I can dream can't I?

So many crap games coming out and they have to can one that could of been epic.. Nice work intel, you suck..

This game is from like 7 years ago.

Seriously.

WhyTF are we talking about a game that died long ago? Has something happened, and it's gonna be released?

WHut Intel said, officially, last summer:

Intel purchased Offset Software to improve our game development knowledge-base and to further Intel's visual computing technology development expertise, helping the company offer robust products, support, and tools to customers. With the recent changes in our product roadmap, some of the resources and technologies from the acquisition are being re-applied to help support new graphics related projects. Additionally, other Offset Software team members have moved onto other external projects outside the company.

I found out about this game last year and just yesterday I saw that it had been cancelled. I've never seen this game discussed on the forum before, maybe when I was on break for a little while it was I don't know. My bad...should have used the search feature :p
edit: Nope, search came up empty :D
