Whenever I set the FSB past 176 it stops detecting the hard drive. The DVD drive however gets detected and still works, So My question is why is it doing this?

It's a Aopen motherboard based off Intel i915p/915g with Pentium 4 506 (775)

Yes I already Prime95 this overclock. It's stable with Stock voltage / heatsink. I want to push it more because it can boot @ 3.66ghz (183 FSB) but the chipset fails to detect the Hard drive.

I think your PCI clocks are not locked at 33MHz. Check it. They should be locked at 33MHz. Else you can't OC much.

^ exactly what he said.

You're overclocking the entire motherboard there, PCI bus and everything on it - you're overclocking your SATA controller, and your HDD cant handle it.

If your motherboard doesnt have an option to lock the PCI bus, i'm afraid you're screwed and that board just wont OC.
