one my customers at work uses Apple Displays but now that Apple gone Thunderbolt only and discontinued their old monitor with dvi.
my customer spoke with apple and so did i, and the person there told me i could use their "Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter" for running 2560x1400pixel via DVI on their "Thunderbolt screen" but from what i know that's not possible with "Single Link DVI" bcs max resolution is 1920x1200 unless Apple made something in the adapter.

i know Apple also sells a "Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter" but it's srsly too over priced like all Apple products...
I want to know if anyone here on TPU has experience running DP to DVI adapter on Apple's Thunderbolt screen so it works with DVI.
