currently everyone in my family with a gaming PC (three people)
run a 5800X3D with different RDNA2 GPUs (6750XT, 6800XT, 6950XT)

I expect Classic Ryzen to dominate this. It will be interesting to see how adoption of the 5800X3D has been as well.

My 3600 is still serving me fine. The 5800X3D is neat, but I can’t justify the cost of an upgrade for any of my current use cases. I may do a new build sometime next year or later this year and pass my current system to a relative though. They are still using a Phenom II system.

Aye, just bought the 5800X3D in july this year. Running its as my primary, the other 4 is intel, one 10600k and 3 oldies but goddies.

3600 here, I may get a 5800X3D later. 5600X3D would be nice but sadly it's an USA-only SKU.

I'm gonna need a real good excuse to pop for a 5800X3D as I'm not held back by the 5600 just yet. I'm waiting for bugs and price reductions to settle out for 2023's bigger games so the CPU demands for some of those may end up being that excuse.

Running a 13900KS..
But just upgraded my brothers 5600X to a 5800X3D. It’s running great with his 6800XT!

I...lost all sense & have ended up with a 7800X3D & 4090 running on a 42" LG OLED TV on my desk. I have a problem!

5800X3D and RTX 4080.
Even though this CPU is decent enough, I find the 7800X3D very attractive.
Yes I'm looking at you, Hogwarts Legacy.

Got a 5900x when Zen 3 launched and can’t quite justify a 5800x3d. Hoping to go 7800x3d eventually though.

Just got my 7800X3D booted with 64GB RAM 6000MT

5600x. The 5800x3d was tempting, but I only would really need it for HLL and Squad (poorly optimized games). I'd rather save the money and effort for the next build.

100% going intel in the future.
Interesting, why intel in the future, I'm guessing you've had some problems?

Still using my 12100F since 2022 february, its enough for my current use case so its gonna stay till 2024 or so and then maybe pick up a Raptor Lake refresh 14400 or a second hand 13400.

7900X3D. Upgraded from a 5800X3D. Paired with a 7900XT with a 4K 144hz panel gives stellar performance.
