Well i guess it would happen sooner or later one of those auto updates would annoy me no end and it's arrived.

Seems like a bunch of people have been having the issue with update KB3163018 were the system goes in to endless circle or even a blue screen.

Some what lucky here the update fails and system reboots 3 times before it's all back to normal, how ever MS being so smart and all decide that this update should be tried over and over and over even if it fails every single time.

A few reasons i wanted to make this post and one was to make people aware of this update, another would be to look in to a way to disable the win10 updates ( i know your out there ) as i know some members do here and thought i trust people on this forum than some random site lol.

For now i think i have found my fix at this link below which allows you to hide\un-hide updates.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3073930

The error i am getting is 0x800F0922 for what i can make of it is that it fails to find enough reserve space for it to complete, i have tried the disk manager to make a new partition to try to solve this error but cannot as clever MS disk manager cannot move files, and not getting in to 3rd party apps to do it i just cannot be assed with it lol.

I know you don't want third party, but the Windows Update mini-tool linked in Mussels signature works fabulously at controlling updates, including hiding updates and telling them to eff off and best of all, it requires no install.

Anyway, it just works.

Well this update MS update kb307930 seems to be working for now, it allowed me to block it so it's a case of waiting and seeing if it works.

But yes i am looking in to other measures too as i have 3 systems pretty much on the same chipset and it just screwed one of the others up too.
