asic quality question

a week ago I purchased a new palit gtx 1080 dual oc , the asic is only 60.2% should I be worried ?

No.
The only thing you should be worried about is if something that the manufacturer guarantees is not met. Like if the card won't run at advertised frequencies etc. ASIC is like fortune-telling and just about as useful. ASIC is like a predisposition gauge in a sense, like if a person is tall, they stand a decent chance at being good at basketball, but it isnt a garantee that they will be good at it. If a card has a higher ASIC, it stands a decent chance at being good at overclocking, but it could also suck at it.....since it is not scientifically sound, and cant be replicated, or repeated, and shown to be consistant, it is moot, like superstition, or Luck....

ASIC is to GPU's, like the "big foot" = Big **** myth is to men.

Considering GPU-Z doesn't support reading ASIC quality from Pascal GPUs, I'd be more concerned with why your GPU is acting like a pre-pascal GPU to GPU-Z than wondering why it's so low.

6 days old , in some games it runs @1924mhz which is over stated boost clocks and not overclocked

It needed to be said. Youd be surprised how many bologna heads sweat & toil over what their asic score is , while deep down knowing (unless there are entirely oblivious) that it means nothing truly
