I'm actually scanning arctifacts whit Ati Tool on my brand new Asus 6600gt agp, and even if I didn't get any artifacts for 15 minutes, i'm a little worried by the card's temp..75C.. isn't it high? my case as great ventilation btw (mobo temp: 33C load)

is Ati Tool more demanding than a normal game? (far cry, quake4, etc)

You should get an aftermarket cooler. Most stock coolers suck, my X800XL was topping out at 70. When I got my Zalman VF700-Cu I'm now getting 33-35 idle/52-55 load.
