I started out with an m2n-e and had nothing but problems with it. Flashed the bios and it wouldn't boot anymore, rma'ed it and got another one. This one would let me flash bios ect and ran with some minor hiccups but still ran for about 6 months. Now the ide controller on it is gone. Which is bad because it can't boot from sata optical drives. Now my server is dead in the water arrrrg! When the first one went on me and I was waiting for a replacement, I got my m2n32-sli deluxe mobo, which went into my main rig, and it just kicks butt for an athlon mobo. Anyone thinking about buying an m2n-e..... don't!

Yea i put 1 of those in my first build and it totaly sucked arse!!

Welcome to "I flashed my M2N-E BIOS and it's not booting anymore" club
BTW CPU voltage changing as well as some other features does not work on this board.

Its an nfarce board isn't it?

Yeah, but ide controller just dieing, no more boot from cd or dvd, or the hd, or any other ide device at this time... stupid waste of money. That's usually the southbridge going out, except this thing only has a north.... nforce 570 my ar** even with that nice heat pipe cooling, i would of thought it would last a while

My m2n32 sli board is rocking, it runs ram at 1100mhz, which it was never intended for, my stupid cpu is stable at 3.3, it's running 4gigs ram, it's nforce 590. Those nforce 570 boards should never have lived!

yeah the m2n-e is crap. i have an m2n32 sli deluxe wf edition and it's probably one of the best boards i've ever used. zippy, handles everything i need. runs a 1515htt link like nobody's business and the fsb doesn't stop letting me boot until 394(absurd for amd), the only thing i dont' like is no matter what psu i use it always says the rails are low, for instance i'm using a bfg es 800 right now and on a multimeter its 12.08 on the board it's 11:78 lol. other then that it's prolly the best nf 590 board you can get.

I noticed that on my m2n32 board too, I stayed at about 11.78v, but now with my tx750 it stays at 12.032v. Oh and mines the deluxe wifi edition too!

i know wierd, no matter what bios i use, same shit. whatever though. it pushes my 5000 blacky just fine that's all that matters.

I have M2N32-SLI Premium with HEC 550W PSU and all voltages are right - 5,00v on 5v rail, 3,34v on 3,3v rail, 12,10v on 12v rail so i don't think it is boards fault. :)
I must agree - this is probbably the best board for AM2. :)

perhaps maybe it's just our boards fault and not yours. I said i tested with a multimeter and it comes out to one thing and i tested with the board and it comes up low on all 3 rails. Maybe you're rails are low and the board reports them high, hit it with a multimeter, see what your actuals are

The nForce 570 SLi board I have is great...the M2N SLi Deluxe. Not too sure about 570 below it though.

idk i posted this pic in another thread, but the m2n32 sli deluxe serves me wonderfully. i'd ditch it and get one of these on the cheap(aka referb, from the forums).

btw note the htt link, this thing is a tank of a board.

Well I guess every bad thing can generate a good thing! Couldn't reinstall windows at all until I discovered a clever script that creates a bootable xp install usb flash drive! Still going to try to get this mobo replaced, but got XP64 installed using this:http://www.msfn.org/board/install-USB-WinSetupF-t120444.html&
And the install is at least twice as fast as from cd or dvd, I was totally amazed, I'll do all my further windows installs from flash drive! It should work for any version of vista as well.
If anyone plays with this, do read the readme.txt first, if you install from it, you may have to play with the boot order on the boot menu, and it has a boot.ini file, you may need to set the 2nd boot to 0,0,0,1 from 0.0,1,1, but it's pretty easy to figure out. Again, I did a full install of XP64 from a flash drive, so it works!
