Asus Maximus Hero VII

Hello again,
I've managed to get working Asus motherboard, it works flawlesly for 2 months now.
All drivers and etc. works fine but After windows Reset I couldn't install Audio with software which you could control equalizer and that stuff, it would not simply install, it just install drivers, but sonic radar installs without issue.
In device manager and audio i get only realteks drivers without software.

Soo im missing the Sonic Suite.

What is the error you get when installing the audio drivers? Can't you get sonic suite at the website and DL it?

1. Update your System Specs, went looking for drivers / utilities and that needs the OS.

2. Here's the list of available droivers and utilities for your MoBo.

3. If it was some kind of bonus thing, the only place to get that is the origonal DVD that came with the MoBo.

Download Audio_V6.0.1.77829. Open the file. In there is a driver file that is the Sonic Studio file. Run the SilentInstall.exe and you will get a dos like windows saying do not turn PC off. After that closes you will have a new icon on your desk top called Sonic Studio. But if its like my pc and your on windows 10, the app will do nothing anyway.

If sonic radar is working it might not after updating it to latest version. With Windows 10 and this MoBo there is a big with the rear optical. Even more so with getting DTS over optic to work.

Asus has a habit of abandoning users especially when the MoBos are a bit old.

The Realtek Audio driver that I've downloaded from there stating "Audio:GM:V6.0.1.7829_GM_StudioSound_SonicSuite_2.2.25_SonicRadar_2.1.3301.0 " The Studio and Sonic Suite won't install with driver installation which I have successfully installed previously on other HDD (Or rather test system with fresh Windows 10) which worked fine, now it is installed but I cannot open it, no reaction nor nothing.
The radar is showing up but the animations are missing

The thing that came as a Bonus, is that this board was orginally bought as Faulty with no other accessory, well if somebody can upload it would be nice....

Weird enough, after trying to uninstall it for 10th time, with GeekUninstaller I've seen that the .exe files exist, soo why not trying to start it up, and then the realtek Manager showed up as the last time it did normally, now the all thingy's work fine...
It has same function as the Sonic Studio since its intergrated.

Sorry if I posted this thread, but I hope it will help somebody else.

VII hero user here. I have the original VII hero driver DVD. I can send you a driver if you need it.
For my audio driver I use a driver called 6.0.1.7240 which I got from the ASUS site. It is not the latest driver, but I used it for a couple of years and I've had no problems with it and the sound equalizer is working. I have win 7 and I'm not sure if this driver will work on win 10.

Honestly though. Aura is an absolute mess of a utility. They should give a warning on the download page that reads ' Caution this software probably wont work as well as the last revision but let us know and we'll never get back to you' lol.

I don't know why dont they keep all Drivers of older revision with bug and newer, like Gigabyte does, I've had UD3R for couple of weeks and with that OC software never had issue with it, even managed to OC well.
From sound card which I have from Trust 512DX which was made in 2003 (around Im guessing), software works like magic, even updated for windows 7 (which works in windows 10).
I guess im gonna do look for alternative from this SupremeFX if it wont work on fresh Windows 10 installation, which Im gonna do soon, cause the @Ruyki which uploaded for me still doesn't wanna work, such a shame.
Im wondering Why realtek doesnt have these options in Sound Options?
On my previous motherboard H81M I had these options in enhancements and with modded driver it still would work.
Weird I havent seen any issues on Toms regarding supremeFX in my 4 years there.
