I have Asus sabertooth z97 mark 2 that stopped working. Computer just shut down one day and I have not been able to turn it on since. There is green light on board as shown on picture. Does anyone know what does that light mean?

So far I tried reseting cmos, changing Cpu, ram, PSU, battery and nothing worked.

the green light means there is power, also ram is not placed correctly. now 1a,1b supposed to be 2a,2b

when it power cycle, is there one of these lights that stays on?

No, just that green light on picture is lightnen up as soon as i plug in power suplly. Connecting power switch pins doesn't turn on computer (fans do not start spinning). Also memOK button on motherboard doesn't do anything.

plugging the connectors wont turn it on, you have to short the power pins

What's the power supply?

I know how to turn on board, it has power but does nothing when i short pins or press memOk button.
Tried with evga supernova 650w and 900w silver rated psu, same behaviour. I also tried reseting cmos, changing battery cpu and ram and ni success.

Alright, memok not gonna do anything same as resetting CMOS. That doesn't prevent you from powering on. If you changed power and you know they are in working order you board might be dead. But did you check if the cpu is ok and are there bent bind ?

Also cpu fan is plugged into cpu header right?

Tried with different CPU's, i5 4670k and i3 4170 and 4130 , they work in other boards, cpu pins seems okay and cpu fan is connected to right header.

Board was working okay and then one day it suddenly shut down and i couldn't turn it on anymore. Changing power supply also doesn't work. The only thing that lights on board is that green light.

You changed CPU's and power supply, yeah that motherboard is dead
