This thread is for anyone like myself who has an Athlon X2 processor and is interested to see how they are still performing with different games at different resolutions and with different GPU setups. I personally have an X2 6000 Windsor which is running at 3.2. I have a 9800GT and I game at 1280x1024. Please give as accurate as possible your -

Name of the game
Minimum, Maximum and average framerates.
The resolution you are playing it at.
Levels of AA and AF
X2 Processor and Speed its running at
Memory amount, speed and timings
GPU setup
In Game Settings

Heres to providing a good base of information for fellow X2 owners who may be pondering changing their videocard or any part of their equipment to facilitate an upgrade :toast:

I've got the same cpu but the gpu is so slow I'd be faster drawing the image myself. I'l get results using my gtx260 although they might come a bit later.

i have a 6400+ which i still own but is sitting on my shelf, but lets see, crysis ultra settings it held 64 fps with a 4870x2 backing it, um company of heroes, 123fps, crsysi warhead 40-57fps, stalker clear sky 60-72fps, half life 150fps, teamfortress 2 200fps, portal 200fps, fear 2 90fps, battlefield 2 140fps, battlefield 2142 170fps, fallout 3 90-120fps, dawn of war soulstorm 160-260fps, dawn of war 2 120-140fps, half life episode one 150-200fps, half life 2 lost coast 120-170fps,

thats only a few of the games i have installed on my computer

Just to make it simple without all the typing every setting on the game was completly maxed to the hilt.

Just did Oblivion as well. I use Qarl's Texture Pack 3 Redimized.

Kind of impressed with the "old girl". It still plays the RPGs I like on almost full eye candy and still gets good framerates.
