Hello, I have the stated graphics card. It does imply cable/antenna connectivity for displaying TV. I have satellite and am trialing IPTV. Is there some software/application that will let me view satellite and/or IPTV on my computer through this video card?
THanks,

B.

You are right, All in Wonder cards should be capable of capturing video... but I'm not sure how. Try downloading ATI Multimedia Center from their site and see what that has to offer.

Yeah I have tried that. the TV module allows for Cable and antenna. Not sure why it would not allow for any video signal... I have not been able to find anything on the ATI website yet. Anyone else trying to do this?

wait are you trying to go directly from the satilite or from the box?

My first option is to use IPTV. The setup is as follows

DSL Modem-----IPTV set-top Box------ATI Video card

I am going to the ATI video card via the big 'domino looking' connector via S-video (for video obviously) and RCA/composite for the sound. It is an ethernet cable from the DSL modem to the set-top box. Since the programming on the IPTV is taken from a satellite provide I assume it is MPEG-4. I also have the Satellite feed from Bell Expressvu. The IPTV service is also from Bell.

So I would prefer to go IPTV directly but hooking up the satellite would be a secondary choice

Sounds like they could be trying to use incompatable formats... not sure, I don't own an AIW card myself so I don't know too much about how they work.
