Sorry if this question seems off the wall, but I'm hoping someone here may have an answer.
I have a HD 4350 card connected to a television using component. What I'm trying to find is a utility that can edit the boot time resolution in the bios of the card. Currently, the picture on the television is out of range/scrambled during boot, but is ok once the drivers have loaded and settings have been applied. Chances are the card is sending a resolution or refresh rate the TV can't handle.
Some of the utilities I have seen allow you to edit the GPU clock during boot, but none work for this particular card and I'm not sure it would make a difference anyway.
I'm looking to edit these settings to 720 x 480 30 hertz. Is this even possible with the ATI cards?
