ATI Tool Works, but at 100% CPU usage all the time

Hi, I just downloaded ATI Tool to control my fan speed, and the program will not stop using 100% cpu.

I have a 2.8ghz Dual Core 64bit AMD and Radeon 9800XT HD 1gb

Any ideas? The program is working, but runs VERY VERY slow, not even usable.
