atiflash "Adaptor not found" RX 580 and questions

Hello,

I am attempting to flash my XFX RX 580 to another vendor a Sapphire PULSE RX 580 in hopes of resolving the UEFI/ CSM bug. I've ensured that the bios contains the correct memory brand and clock. My card has never been used for mining and it has a bios switch.

1) When I boot into DOS, atiflash simply reports that the adaptor is not found. I've tried "atiflash -I 1 2 3 etc. however it still reports the same. I have followed every instructions in the atiflash guide pinned in this section.

2) When I use atiwinflash to back up the bios the ROM comes in 512KB, but when I use GPU-Z it comes in 256KB. Does it matter?

I'm using a ASRock AB350 ITX motherboard and the XFX RX 580 GTS XXX edition.

Any help/ advice will be appreciated thanks.

Thanks! I checked both files and they are identical from a BIOS perspective. The 512 KB one has just an extra 256 KB of empty data appended to the end.
