when doing a sitesearch on techpowerup it said that the atitool was connected to W32/Sdbot.worm.gen virus, could it be true....?

I've never once had a virus/malware issue caused or linked by ATI Tool when downloaded from here. And I've tried many of the beta versions and official versions, no issues. I wouldn't be worried if downloading from here, as W1Z not only created ATI Tool, but is the creator of Techpowerup! and he does an excellent job keeping this place clean!

:toast:

i've had a problem either, that why i was suprosed, look:

atitool from reputable sources wont have a worm.

Blind trust is a bad thing. Of course it won't be on purpose but things can always go wrong.

I scanned with an up to date F-Secure and it says it's clean, and seeing how all those scanners pass it I would say it's a false positive. Such things happen. Scan the file again on the site when definitions are updated. See if it still gives a positive, if so it might be an idea to send them an e-mail.
