i'm going to get some sort of video input device for a couple of computers. Now that the dust has settled and digital tv has been a reality for a while, I figured it was time.
i'll probably place my order tomorrow, but if I get a fair number of responses, I may put that off to digest first.
Here are the ones I'm looking at now.
KWORLD ATSC TV Stick UB435-Q USB 2.0 Interface - Retail
AVerMedia AVerTVHD Duet PCTV tuner (A188) MTVHDDUET PCI-Express x1 Interface - Retail
I figure that for my purposes, anything that work will be fine. But the one issue I'm a little worried about is scheduling recordings. Right now, the POS DVr from the cable company gets faked out when they change he time from say 7-8pm to 7-8:02PM or some shit like that. Is the scheduling software for these types of devices any smarter/
