Battlefield 1 crashes immediately after startup

I recently installed battlefield 1
But every time i try to play it it crashes immediately.
Is there any special fixes for this?
An on Windows 8.1. 64 bit

Repair the game
Are you Running an up to date Driver?
Close all programs running in the background, like Skype Steam Msi Afterbruner etc...
Are you missing Direct X updates or any other Runtimes Like the Visual C++ Runtimes?
BF1 is an DirectX 11-12 Game only , can you run other DirectX 11 Games? Did you set it to DirectX 12 by accident?

(My) Documents -> Battlefield 1 Open Beta -> settings -> PROFSAVE_Profile

Either open that with something like Notepad++ and find GstRender.Dx12Enabled 1 and change it to 0 or delete the file and start the game.

The CPU seems a bit on the slow side too. If software doesn't fix your problem, I'd look there.

I can run ghost racoon wild lands perfectly.

I have only 2 games on origin , BF3 and Dead Space , both gotten for free. They both worked without an internet connection if I remember correctly. (Not MP on BF3 obviously)

Yes, you can play them in offline mode, but you still need an Origin client in order to play them.
