I have it installed on all of my machines. 2 Vista 64 bit and 2 XP 32 bit. It is the full version though and never had any issues. The full version now is cheap and the 1.5 patch gives you all kinds of extras and no disk needed. It is a Great game and runs flawless on everything I have. Maybe it is a Win 7 thing I don't know.

Did it create a folder in your documents folder? If so delete it and try again.

BTW BF2 is known for this kind of bugginess.

i've had a few buddies run into some issues with win 7 and bf2. to solve i think they ran as admin, or in compatability mode. also update your punkbuster, and if u run steam turn off the overlay, it doesnt play well with punkbuster.

Try disabling Internet Connection sharing if you have it enabled, that has given be problems with quite a few games, mainly GFWL games and CODWAW and Borderlands co-op.

I had same problem has to do with your resolution. Have to find the profile and change it to 640 x 480

Go into the compatibility mode, and set it for XP service pack 2.

You should be ok after that.

This thread is about the Battlefield 2 demo, not BFBC2 demo.
Google it , that should point you where you need to go.

the demo doesnt allow for the patches so your best bet is buying a 10$ copy of BF2 and the new 1.50 patch gives your euro and Armed fury for free. :)

steam has the complete collection for 29$ but im sure you can find a member here that has a copy they never play anymore
