Hey everyone!

I feel ashamed to ask but I have two questionregarding my Strimer v2 in combination with my 6+8 socket graphics card.

As you can see I couldn’t put the extra two pins from my Lian li Strimer v2 into the graphics card, this is normal i suppose?

Second, on the the other end of my Lian li Strimer cables, I am able to put the full 8+8 pins, but should I do so? And if not, does it matter in what order I connect the 6+8 pins on my 8+8 connector from the Lian li cable? Please see the picture to understand what I mean.

Yes, it is normal for video cards to have one 6 pin and one 8 pin connector, and some do have two 8 pin connectors like mt ASRock RX 6750XT. It depends on the wattage need from the 12V PCIE connectors for the card to work at it rated wattage draw.

Yes, that is fine and will not cause you any issues. The two-pin connector is a set of ground connections, and the 6-pin housing is a mix of 12 Volts and ground.

Not all gpus have 8 pin connectors all the way, some still have 1 or 2x 6 pin, 1x 8 pin, 1x 8 pin and 1x 6 pin, 2x 8 pin, or 3x 8 pin.
