Taiwanese company BenQ wants to get more aggressive with its displays.
According to BenQ 19-inch LCDs are 35% - 40% of its business.

The company will soon introduce the FP93GX display with 2ms response time.

It claims it was the first to introduce 6ms and later 4ms and now finally 2 ms and the company targets the gamers with this display.

Supposedly BenQ plans to introduce a 20 inch display with 8ms response soon and that it works on a 24-inch HDMI capable display.

Who would notice the difference between 16ms and 2ms? My monitor is a cheap 16ms monitor and I don't get any ghosting...

I would much rather have a better contrast ratio then 2 ms response time. 12ms is plenty fast enough in any game. Even 16ms you usually cant see any ghosting.

The way I saw it was $400 video card + $250 for the monitor - $75 for the combo deal - $30 for a mail-in rebate = good deal ($400 vid card + $145 for the monitor)

I hate benq. They have the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with. They make AOL look like newegg.

But the FP93GX is a great monitor. Have had mine for about a month, and love it. Only the Samsung 940BF is as quick.

We have a benQ 19" at work that I like, except the default colors are less than optimal and it seems impossible to get the colors 100% correct. And the backlight takes awhile to get up to full output.

I forgot - there was one of those subscriptions offers included with the deal, so if you decline it, it's another $10 off (after refund). They've got two other vid cards you can buy with it to get the combo deal.

Hey jimmy I hate to tell u this, but not everyone has your eyes. Some people notice ghosting on LCD's and other don't. It varies per person.
