I just want to upgrade from existing HDD. I plan to use this as the boot and programs installation drive.;)

Also on one of the cust. reviews on egg, I saw this

"Manufacturer (OCZ) Response:Hello, we do not recommend copying an existing OS installation from a standard hard drive. We will be glad to answer any question you may have on our support forums. Just post in the Flash/SSD section and we will be glad to help.
Thank you"

Why would they say that? I was planning to image my entire C drive onto the SSD:confused:

Cheers,
Shiv

The Vertex 2 is best. I tried cloning an O/S to mine from a HDD and performance wasn't very good.. so I guess that's the reason.

Yea, just pony up the extra $10 for the Vertex 2, it's well worth it. And I didn't know anything about imaging on SSD, but I guess that plan's out of the window now.
