Bioshock 2 – Who’s Playing Multiplayer?

First – Even though they went with matchmaking (bleh) I decided to get it on Steam because I can’t stand the thought of playing another new FPS on the 360.

Second – What are your games for windows live ids?
Third – Just in case people don't already have them...post your steam ids as well!

Survival of the Fittest:
A 'free-for-all' mode where each player gets points for killing each of the other players. Whichever player has the most kills at the end of the match wins.
Civil War: Similar to 'Survival of the Fittest,' but in this mode players are divided into two teams and the team with the most collective kills at the end of the match wins.
Last Splicer Standing:
A variation of 'Survival of the Fittest' where the player does not respawn after being killed. The last player alive at the end of the match is the winner.
Capture the Sister:
A 'Capture the Flag' style mode where players are divided into two teams. One team has to protect a Little Sister while the other team tries to steal her and place her in a vent on the other side of the map. After a pre-determined amount of time, the teams switch roles. Whichever team has the most captures at the end of the match wins.
ADAM Grab:
In this mode there is one Little Sister on the map and the player must seek her out and maintain possession of her as long as possible. Whoever has held onto the Sister longest at the end of the match wins.
Team ADAM Grab:
A variant of 'ADAM Grab' where players are divided into two teams. The objective is the same, but victory is determined by a collective score rather than individual scores.
Turf War:
Players are split into two teams and each team must reach pre-determined points on the map to capture that point. The team with the most control points over the longest time wins.

40 levels (ranks), build customization, 2 plasmids that are Multiplayer specific, pick a character (citizen) from Rapture…

kind of a big selling point I thought this time around.

its like $45 preorder and includes a free copy of bioshock 1.. or if tpu can come up with a group buy, they have 4 copies for about $33.75 each..

Fresh mutliplayer that pits you in the rapture civil war…that takes place before the first Bioshock…

You’re missing the facts…you take part in the Rapture civil war in multiplayer…picking a character and leveling up getting plasmids, weapons, tonics, etc.

It’s a 100% separate element from single player…so why wouldn’t you play it?

The only recent worthless multiplayer aspect of any recent game has been Borderlands. And I know for a fact Bioshock's multiplayer won't be worthless whatsoever.

i dont know why i dont like mp its just i played most of my life only single play modes becuase i got internet connection only for 3y,i mostly play mmorpg games and very rare i play some fps mp like counter strike.

Well you should give it a shot...

Modern warfare 1 & 2 have multiplayer aspects. Level to unlock things much like MMOs you’re familiar with. I too am predominately a MMO snob and typically only play MMOs. Nothing is out right now that's worth playing so I gave the first MW a second play through 1-55, then MW2 a play through 1-70 and unlocked everything there was to unlock without prestiging. It’s really not that different unless you just hate PvP then games like this wouldn’t be right for you.
