I overclocked 9800GT , then it lost the display driver, but as vista does, it recovered the driver instead of a BSOD and let me play the game on . Then i restarted my PC and overclocked the CPU . PC booted fine, then this error shows up .

Tried repairing the installation from vista DVD, it said recovered in the recovery tool . But i still had the error, had to reinstall vista. What is up ?

FIXMBR and FIXBOOT not work ?.

You should have just used system restore booting from the dvd.;)

I've actually had a bad OC do that to me a few times. Restarting wouldn't fix it, but all it took was completely shutting off the machine for a minute or two, then rebooting.
