I've just start getting back into Borderlands again after not really giving it a fair shot the first time, which I do a lot with games... It's annoying, I still haven't completed Bioshock 1 yet didn't think twice about buying the 2nd one because I knew it would be a good game, just haven't even played it yet haha. Anyway enough of that, anyone got the Borderlands DLC's and do you think it was worth the purchase? Do they offer some nice locations and new enemies or pretty much the same old? Oh and are any of the 3 DLC's particularly worth getting?

i bought the 2nd dlc it was pretty sweet. but i think in order ot get the most out of it the game and all dlc's are the way to go. but you can only go so high level wise anyways. the main point is to beat it with all different types

General Knoxx's Army is definitely worth the money. The Dr. Zed's Zombie Island is borderline. The only thing worthy buying in the Moxxie DLC is the bank (lets you store guns). There is apparently another DLC coming. Personally, I'd wait until they're all out and buy it as a pack.

Zombie Island is pretty fun, but pwning zombies is always fun. :p

Just did a bit of my own research, the new DLC is coming in September and is called Claptrap's New Robot Revolution. It's been a while since the last DLC was released, so maybe it's a big one. More likely they slowed down on development but whatever. :P

Think I will get all the DLC's as long as I'm not bored by the time I've finished the main game, it does get a bit MMO-style grindy.

Zed and Knoxx are worth it. Moxies is meh, but decently fun in co-op with friends.

Claptrap is taking a long time most likely because they are also working on Borderlands 2.

I too have this thing of not finishing a game quickly (havent finished shift or GRID2).. only then did I realize that there was nothing wrong with me, its just that the certain genre of the game did not appeal to me, hence it being ignored..

From the looks of it, your really not into RPG firstperson shooters (Bioshock 1 (well kinda rpg-ish), Borderlands).. so Id say you should bypass getting the DLC..

This is what i say too, i loved the zombies and im working on knoxx ATM. The only part that makes me kinda pissed is there is NO teleporters in the DLCs and they are BIG dlcs so if your way off doing a job and you have to exit the game or the game crashed or something along the lines of that then your STUCK fighting your way back to where you were

This is possible, but if that's true then no type of games appeal to me at the moment :/ I'm bored of straight-up FPS games because it's all I ever seem to play, it's more a case of getting to play the games I think. Once I start playing them I enjoy them, it's literally just starting them up.
