I got a nvme drive (now C)and did a drive copy with minitool and that went well but i cannot clear all partitions off another drive in the pc( not even the old os drive, that's wiped fully new os boot drive works fine) ,it was at one point an os drive and the system restore and efi partitions are on it not my C drive, any help would be appreciated i want to clear that drive to use as s cache drive.

What nvme did u get¿

I don't know minitool but if it's a nvme from Intel or Samsung they got their own cloning that works fine.

U could go to cmd and use diskpart to remove all partitions on ur other drive.

I fixed it with samsung secure eraser , I got a weird oem thing pg981 512Gb its not supported by Samsung magician :(

ah the PM981 it's a fine drive just OEM which means Magician won't be supported but they do make a enterprise version for their PM863 maybe this version will support the PM983 too.

Thanks I'll try it Samsung are a bit tight .
It's working well and my old 840 basic is now a storemi cache for a 1Tb so i can check that tech out.
Seams snappier for sure.

Odd thing is i sware it posts through bios quicker , exactly the same bios settings , probably the bios flash to 1002 that though.
