I've got this computer that can connect to the internet. I can ping, but FTP, HTTP and other related stuff will not work. Whenever i open a browser, like firefox, it says cannot connect server or something.

Any ideas?

Launch firefox in safe mode and reset all settings.

Its not firefox related. No browsers will work, not even IE.

Try restarting the computer in safe mode. I suspect a virus.

I have done a virus scan, done safe mode.
