BSOD While installing windows 7 beta 64

Need help.

I'm trying to install Windows 7 on this comp:

CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ 2.8ghz
MOBO: BIOSTAR A740G M2+
2GB Mushkin DDR2 800( removed one stick, now 1gb)
using Onboard Video
using Onboard Sound

Every time it starts installing after I select the Hard drive it BSOD's some time while in the expanding files process I think.

I need some help trying to figure out what the problem is. I removed all hardware that I could out of the comp( sound card, video card, Ram).

The Error message:

My old machine does the same thing with vista, it blue screens while expanding files or soon after. I'm fairly certain it's the hard drive on it's way out, I ran memtest for like 10 hours with no errors so I'm fairly certain it's not the memory. Do you have another hard drive to try?

Its a brand new 80gb hard drive I got from newegg 3 days ago... I installed XP on it with no probs then formatted to put Win7 on it. I did a memtest on the system to see if its the memory and there were no errors.

I have windows 7 installed on my current system with no problems.
