So PCSP has Lenovo p520 Workstations on sale for a killer price. Got one for a friend of mine with a Xeon W-2245, and it runs real nice for a sub $1000 dollar system. Can configure it with as much or as little hardware as you want.
The base unit is only $144 dollars, and that's case, motherboard and a 900w platinum Delta psu. We got his with an Intel Xeon W-2245 32 gb of ram (4x8 quad channel), a 1tb nvme and a 1tb sata ssd (you have the option to buy new or used storage, we opted for new), and a 2080ti, all for for $830 dollars.
It runs sweet, and there is lots more that could be done to it. Cascade Lake xeon, so lots of pci-e lanes, and it supports Intel VROC if you get a key for it.
Could make all kinds of interesting storage configs with it. Could be a cheap server or a cheap daily driver (which is the case for my friend). PCSP sells pulls/used/refurb stuff but they are upfront about it, and they stand by their products in my experience.

Here is some more info on the system itself (source is Lenovo support page for the p520).
