im looking for a calculator that i can put lines of numbers in and it will calculate line by line of that number to what i select the mode to be, any one know of any software like this?

cant you do stuff like that in excel?

yes when i read the first post i thought excel too

Excel is the answer.

Graphing calculators calculate one line at a time and you can scroll up to see what you entered previously.

Open Office.org spreadsheet will cover excel's capabilities if you don't have it. A graphing calculator sounds like what you're after though but you don't seem to need a particularly powerful one as you're only requiring the screen size really.

no not like that i want some thing that works by each line say

4
3
5
1

and i want that whole line X 6 on each number

You can create formulas on a graphing calculator.

w = 1
x = 2
y = 3
z = 4

ret (w * 6) + (x * 6) + (y * 6) + (z * 6)

Excel or the open Office alternative mentioned above.

You write the numbers in the first column (i.e A1 cell), the multiplier in the second column (A2) and in A3 you write "= A1*A2". Then you can expand this formula to as many lines as you want by simply dragging the A3 cell from it's lower right corner.

You can also do "A4 = A1+A2", "A5 = A1-A2", "A6= A1/A2" and so on, that way you just have to change the operands.

EDIT: Erm sorry, I'm talking about columns so instead of A3 = A1*A2 etc it would be C1 = A1*B1 and so on.
