They ran the Heaven benchmark, here’s a screenshot.Ehm, it looks legit. and the GPUz checks out for Gm206.. Best way to be sure is to get them to take the cooler off and show the die. Or run a benchmarkSoftware may be able to be fooled.
Right so now we need someone with a 960 2GB to test it, or get them to benchmark it as per the settings in this thread:They ran the Heaven benchmark, here’s a screenshot.

there's a few 960's in there
no problem! As i say it looks legit just make sure you get a photograph of the results from heaven like what you posted, it'd take a LOT more effort to get Heaven to spew out modified results than to shop an image. Not saying it's not possible but.. yeah.Ok thank you for the help!
That was the photo from the heaven benchmark the seller did with that card. Also I’m paying £60 for it which is a good deal but nothing that makes me think it’s ‘too good to be true’.no problem! May I ask how much you're paying for it? Just curious
Ah okay. Is this through Ebay, or with PayPal, btw? That way you can get buyer protection if the card turns out to be not what they are saying it is.That was the photo from the heaven benchmark the seller did with that card. Yeah I just realised I said that was a screenshot of heaven, when it was a photo. I’ll be paying through PayPal.Ah okay. Is this through Ebay, or with PayPal, btw? That way you can get buyer protection if the card turns out to be not what they are saying it is.
Make sure you use "Paying for goods or services" then, it'll take a little fee but, IIRC, you are protected by PayPal if it goes wrong.Yeah I just realised I said that was a screenshot of heaven, when it was a photo. I’ll be paying through PayPal.
Yes of course, I’ll cover the fees for him but it just adds that extra level of security.Make sure you use "Paying for goods or services" then, it'll take a little fee but, IIRC, you are protected by PayPal if it goes wrong.

So it's legit, right? If anything attempt to upload your bios, it should already be in the database and provide a link, copy that link and post it here, follow this video on how to do so

Listen up I did a search of your card's Device ID and Subsystem ID.
This is what it pulled up.

Only way to truly see is verify how many ram chips are on the card physically. So it's legit, right?
Wow ok thanks for the information! I’ll have a look at uploading the bios on the morning (it’s getting pretty late now).If anything attempt to upload your bios, it should already be in the database and provide a link, copy that link and post it here, follow this video on how to do so

I’ll open it up if I do end up buying it to clean it anyway, I can check then for you if you want.Only way to truly see is verify how many ram chips are on the card physically.

And the bios shows it’s from a 960. The buyer did say it’s from a pre built so maybe they customised the shroud and fans?
So does this show it’s a legit 960 and worth buying?
Thanks!

Ok, thank you for the help. And is it possible it’s a customised card of that model you found the bios matched with? As it’s from a prebuilt PC.Yeah it might help complete the gpu database further, also im pretty decent on getting correct bios back on cards for most part.

Thank you so much!!Closest cooler i find for your card that matches in clock speeds are the following cards. (The single heatpipe is a give away)

It took me a bit to comb through alot of bios files, too bad the database doesnt have a means of looking up bios version without having to name a chip or card brand name...
