I successfully flashed my RX 5700 to a XT Bios. And while it has given me a sizable performance boost, I noticed that I can still only set the Power Limit Slider to 20% more. The same is true in the Radeon software. I tried restarting my PC, reinstalling Afterburner - no joy. What is the issue here?

How do I check that with GPU-Z?

Increases power limit with flash, then not happy with an extra 20% on top. :shadedshu: :banghead:

I hope you have a fire extinguisher handy.

Hardly. I'm far more interested in a stable UNDERVOLT that maxing the thing out. I have answered my own question. The bios I used for my card (MSI Evoke OC 5700XT) - only allows for add +20% to the power limit. I has able to get the card to a stable 2150mhz at 82c when testing an overclock. @ 1050Mv She will still do 1920mhz stable, which is where I plan to keep it. Thank you all for the help!

The original BIOS of RX 5700 is 165w with a possible boost of 15 percent. The RX 5700 XT BIOS is 200w and capable of another 20 percent.

So in total, if you add the optional 20 percent, you'll get a total of 45 percent gained by flashing to RX 5700 XT.

Roger that, that is what I thought after further researching the "issue."
