I have Windows on a internal drive but it want boot from it o_OIt is the first Boot device .It will only boot from my Samsung T5 external drive. When the T5 is not plugged in it says there is no boot drive in there. How can that be when it has Windows on it?o_OThe T5 has a problem with Realtec i keep on getting a pop up saying it is unplugged:(
Gigabyte motherboard. It is driving me mad the sound of the popup:(

Didn't you had boot issues before?

I think i did,
I notice that the drive does not say Windows Boot drive i don,t think i sorted it out. o_O
It says* Reboot and select proper boot device*
Any idea how i can sort the problem of the Realtek message forever popping upo_O
Why will it only boot from the external drive? o_O It is driving me mad with all the Realtek popups:(

So was everything working fine before and it just quit working, or did you change something, or maybe you took the drive from one pc and put it in this one?

Originally it was working, but when i started to use the T5 thats when i could not boot from the internal drive,I deleted the drive to get Windows 11 with Rufus i kept on getting a message about Legacy and UEFI but after getting that message a few times ,i managed to get Windows 11 on the internal drive. :) To get windows 11 I did it with my fav UK you tubers.
:) With no problem with getting the message about Realtek keep on disconneting ,like on my T5.So all sorted now ,I am thiking of putting Linux on the T5 after wipping it.

IIRC if you have a working boot drive, then attach another drive and install an OS to it, it can mess up the boot info on the original boot drive. Maybe that's what happened.

I think there is no relevance it being a Gigabyte motherboard.
