Can this be right? 10.3 vs 10.3a

As you can see (as a 4870 user) going from 10.3a to 10.3 leaves a hugh performance gap. e,g,

Dirt 2 1920 x 1200

10.3= 35
10.3a= 45

Fear 2

10.3= 73
10.3a= 103

As a 4870 user I'm a bit pissed off that the final product is significantly worse than the alpha/beta. Anyone else confounded? :wtf:

You have 3dmark? Can you do the test yourself? You have the HD4870 right?

10.3a is newer than 10.3. There was topic about it somwhere on TPU.

hmm? i had 10.3a on and then clean installed 10.3 ... and thought the fps was a bit lower on fraps but couldn't figure why.

i also have the XFire application profiles installed, is this what you mean? not sure...
