I just moved to a new location with a new ISP. My computer has windows vista, and i am unable to connect to the internet. When i try to diagnose the problem it says my layered service provider is outdated. Google searches said that was bad to do.

I was also told to uninstall my nod32 v2.7 and this would make it work. I have done that and did a winsock repair, and still nothing. Any suggestions?

When all else fails, I usually find a fresh install of Vista works.

Had a look on google someone menchined Acrobat reader 8 was the prob if you have that uninstall and see if that makes it work.

Try this unplug power from router then unplug power from modem ......plug modem back in wait for it to go online at this point turn off your rig .... plug the router back in and wait for it to handshake with the modem then reboot the rig

working now

Thanks! after several attempts finally got it working!!

Excellent alls well that ends well. :toast:
