i have them both connected to the sas controler sees them both as 2tb hard disk

use command prompt (admin)

use the disk part command to wipe the partition tables off the drives.

like so.

> diskpart

List disk

sel disk #

clean

in that order. Then open disk management (this is easier than doing it via cmd)

make sure the drive is initilized as GPT (mbr has 2TB limit)

it could also be the sas controller. some only support certain size limits, but if one shows correctly im willing to bet its the init type.

thanks that worked. but still sees it only as 2gb im gona try to swap them to sata controller
foud the issue my sas controler only supports up to 2tb. sata up to 3tb
