Sup all,

finally sat down to configure my mAP lite as a repeater. However, I can't even start, becasue I can't log into the Router OS. My setup is following:

- desktop PC with a wi-fi card. Internet connected to the Wifi and the lan card of the motherboard is connected to the map lite with a patch cable.

I go the their website and according to instructions I should use IP: 168.192.88.1 , but....nothing happens. Can I have a hand please?

My plan is: log in, update the firmware and follow a youtube tutorial to set it up a repeater.

Thank you for the time spent, I did help a bit, but wasn't the solution. I didn't notice you had to hold the button BEFORE powerup. Anyhow, the correct sequence to log in is: connect the patch cable from mikrotik to router. Then go to the PC and look for wireless network "mikrotik" and log in to the wireless network. That's the trick. You must be logged in that wireless network, otherwise you can't access the map lite. Already updated the firmware, now off I go to figure out the repeater mode ;)
