Hey there
So, i made a mostly bought used - upgrade of my system
everything arrived, looking good (backplate of the scythe mugen cpu cooler is missing but after a google search it seems scythe cant produce a fitting am4 backplate anyway so i did some stuff myself to mount the cooler)
Specifically the gpu: i got a RTX 3060 Ti Zotac Twin Edge
Not the OC

i only want to enable resizeable bar and you need toupdate the vbios for that.
but when i select the card version in zotacs download center and download the tool, it doesnt work.
gpu-z shows all indications that im able to use rebar...(Asus x470 prime pro, bios version 6063; ryzen 5 5600x, gpt boot drive etc.)
Am i doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance for your answers

atleast the sku comes out to a normal twin edge witch gpu-z and the techpowerup registry.

now im guessing it might be a really old vbios version to begin with on the card right now stopping it from getting updated

this log has the same device and subsystem id as my card and the same bios version (unverified entry)

this card has the same bios version but a different subsystem id (also unverified entry)
Unbenannt3.PNG

and this card has the same device & subsystem id as the last one and this is the most recent verified vbios entry in the techpowerup database. that means that this bios should work with my card, right? never flashed vbios before..

What does this mean?
Soooo
back with more info iy you still reading this and can maybe help me
i contacted zotac support:
"The card is Zotac (OEM) made for a customer.
Zotac does not provide the support and maintenance service. "
I guess this either means it came from a chinese wholesale marketplace or in a finished system from walmart(?)
but the card is definitly a standard Zotac RTX3060 Ti Twin Edge, no LHR, no OC, no GDDR6X
That means i only need to finde a rebar-updated bios for the same card and could then flash it with nvflash to enable rebar?

Also i did a complete teardown, cooling paste and pads are redone and i put a pair of 120mm fans on the card
